Description
The gold beads were hand made in Ethiopia and each bead is made a little different than the next, which makes this piece perfectly imperfect. Beautifully hand crafted golden beads with a matte finish, I mixed it up with silver and gold metal findings and the piece is simple and lovely.
Wire wrapped White Turquoise and Purple Jasper adorn the top fringe, and Amethyst is the 10th stone. A small golden matte cross compliments the beads.
I was going to remake this in an attempt to align the beads more, but thought twice about it. The more I looked at the completed project, the more I liked it. What is perfect in this world? Isn’t it the imperfect, cracked, flawed, or blemished things in life that capture our attention?
“not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own” Phillipians 3:12 Didn’t Jesus choose imperfect followers throughout Scripture?
For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. James 3:2
Think of the wonky golden beads when you stumble. We all stumble at some point.
