Aquamarine is said to channel the energy of the ocean and to ease worries. I made this sun catcher this morning before I take my first volunteer class at a local animal shelter. Aquamarine properties bring inner peace and I thought by mixing the green cultured pearls with a bit of Aquamarine with the crystals would be a nice blend. Aquamarine is supposed to be an emotional support stone; and I can use that this morning. I’m trying to face what hurts me most and turn this grief into something positive and help others. The sun catchers are bringing awareness to a disease most of us have never heard of and supporting veterinary medicine to fight Copper Storage Disease.
All sun catchers measure approximately 6 inches in length. A paw print bead (in either gold or silver which is depicted in photos) is added to every piece. My photography has much to be desired as I can’t capture the brilliance of my sun catchers, but the end goal is what this is all about; bringing attention and supporting research for Copper Storage and liver disease in animals.
My sun catchers are created to remind us of our beloved pets whether here on this earth or if they have crossed to the beyond. May each sparkle bring a smile to the recipients face and conjure up happy memories.
Proceeds with be given to research for Copper Storage Disease and liver disorders in animals. I create one sun catcher per day in memory of my Max and will continue to do so as long as I can bring awareness to Copper Storage Disease.
SAFETY REMINDER: Sun catchers are not toys. Keep away from children and pets as they could cause injury or choke hazards. They are meant to be displayed in a non-distracting manner in a place to keep little hands or paws away.
